We aim to establish a foundation for sustainable corporate growth by proactively addressing sustainability-related issues and launching new LSI businesses in the promising areas.

Since our founding in 1990 as Japan’s first fabless manufacturer specializing in system LSIs, MegaChips Corporation has focused its resources on research and development to hone its unique technology. We place a strong emphasis on planning and developing system LSIs that contribute to solving our customers problems and improving their competitiveness by combining our application knowledge with our LSI expertise.

In the electronics industry where we are involved, the demand for LSI products will continuously increase as they are key devices for achieving a society where everything is connected to the network. This is driven by the growing need for high-performance and multifunctional electronics components across a wide range of areas, including telecommunications and industrial equipment.

Under such circumstances, we are taking measures to enhance the business foundations in each division. Our goal is to ensure that Amusement, ASIC, and Telecommunication businesses become major pillars supporting our company. We aim to maintain stable revenue by strengthening our business portfolio and continuously conducting business structural reforms to achieve new business development. In addition, we aim to launch a fourth new business to ensure our sustainable growth. To achieve this, we will promote advanced joint research and development with universities both in Japan and abroad. We will also invest in capital and engage in strategic collaboration with startups that possess cutting-edge technology and innovative ideas through a Corporate Venture Capital in the USA. By doing this, we will foster the development of new business opportunities and lead to the creation and commercialization of unique businesses.

We will address various issues such as compliance with laws, regulations, and social norms; contribution to society by providing excellent products; respect for human rights and promotion of diversity; fair trade with suppliers and business partners; respect for stakeholders; and contribution to global environmental conservation. as “company friendly to society, the environment, and people”.
